Remote
Intelligent (RIS) Sensor

The Remote Intelligent Sensor (RIS) is a
continuous monitoring system using paper tape technology to monitor levels of
specific acutely toxic gases including: TDI, PPDI, HDI, MDI, NDI, IPDI,
Hydrazine, Phosgene, Chlorine, Arsine, Acid Gases and HCl.
The RIS runs for 30 days on a single paper tape
cassette, and can be programmed to warn and alarm at user specified action
levels. STEL and TWA information can be printed locally or via a central
controller.
For a multi-point monitoring system, network
several RIS units to a central controller reporting to a desk-top computer. This
provides instant access to gas monitoring information gathered in all parts of
the facility.
