Multiwarn II
A Versatile measuring instrument for:
  • 1 to 4 Gases (Without Infrared Sensor)
  • 1 to 5 Gases (With Infrared Sensor)

Available in two models:

  • Basic Easy-to-use, or,
  • Extended with Advanced Operating Software
Available sensor configuration options:
- two infrared sensor versions (must be factory installed), either:
1. % by volume CO2, or,
2. Ex with two measurement ranges:
- Either % by volume CH4 or
- Ex % LEL alkane (note: IR Sensor will not measure H2)
- a plug-in catalytic Ex-sensor (for all explosive gases and vapors) which can be installed and removed by the user!
- three electrochemical sensors (O2, TOX) which can be installed and removed by the user!
- choose from a selection of 13 plug-in, intelligent, interchangeable electrochemical sensors for the measurement of more than 35 different gases. Can be installed and removed by the user!
Equipment Options:
- an integrated pump (optional)
- 50-hour data logger and versatile operating software (optional)
Personal and area monitoring of the ambient air to detect toxic and explosive gases as well as excess or insufficient oxygen.

 

Multiwarn II: A Brief Description
Multiwarn II is an intelligent, flexible measuring instrument for 1 to 5 gases with the following features:
- The simultaneous monitoring and warning of up to five gas hazards, such as:
1. Ex (0 - 100% LEL)
2. CO2 (0 - 25% by volume)
3. O2 (0 - 25% by volume)
4. H2S (0 - 100 ppm)
5. CO (0 - 500 ppm)
- operation of the instrument is simple with three large buttons. Further features can be programmed in as needed for easy use with our new flexible operating menu (FLEXMEN), for example:
1. Fresh-air callibration,
2. Changing over from % LEL to %
by Vol when measuring methane.
- the back illuminated, full graphics display, shows up to 8 lines of 20 digits. This display clearly leads the user through a simple and well structured operating menu in plain text. The current gas concentrations of all 5 measuring channels are displayed simultaneously while measuring.
- display can be illuminated at the push of a button
- extremely loud audible alarm signal (85 dB(A), at a 30 cm distance)
- clearly visible red alarm light with 3 LEDs
- optimized housing design which is both: stable in an upright position (area monitoring for several people) and wearing close to the body (monitoring of individuals)
- an integrated pump for flow monitoring (optional)
- five sensor ports for which the user may choose between 16 different Dräger sensors. All of these sensors have been developed and are produced by Dräger.
- 2 Dräger infrared sensors are available for the infrared sensor port:
0-25% by volume CO2 or
IR-Ex with 2 Measuring Ranges:
0-100% by volume CH4 or
0-100% LEL Alkane
- 13 different, intelligent, interchangeable Dräger electrochemical sensors for measuring up to 35 different gases are available for the three electrochemical sensor ports. The 13 intelligent electrochemical sensors are precalibrated »plug and play« type sensors which can easily be exchanged or retrofitted by the user. Multiwarn II automatically recognizes the type and measuring range of the installed electrochemical sensor.
